Information for New Students

Hi! I’m Evan, and I would love to help you or your child reach their musical goals and develop a life-long love of music. As a teacher I draw on more than a decade of experience playing saxophone in styles including classical, jazz, pop, funk, and more to help each student find their individual voice and sound on the instrument. Through our study, students develop rock-solid fundamentals, improve their technique, and expand their understanding of musical concepts and artistry. My students also become comfortable with reading sheet music and learning by ear so they can feel equally at home playing a written out piece or transcribing their favorite song on Spotify.
